SALLE DE QUILLES BOLORAMA

In the summer of 2019, Éric Loiselle’s dream became a reality: he acquired the Salle de Quilles Bolorama in Chibougamau.

After the first year of operation, he decided to change the scoring system to offer his clients a whole new experience on the lanes.

To begin with, he trusted the Conqueror X management system.  This system allows him to centralise every bowling aspect in one place.  With all due respect, although he is not computer savvy, Éric quickly manages to find his ease to master the various tasks he can accomplish with Conqueror X, thus demonstrating the simplicity and logic of this system.

As for the scoring and entertainment system, he decided to go with an “à la carte” version of BES X in which just a certain number of environments/animations and games, as Monster Factory, are unlocked.

The bowler’s area changed drastically with the addition of the EasyKey consoles.  On each pair, there is just one stand with two keyboards (one for each lane).  This is day and night compared with the old monstrous monitors there were.  It should be mentioned that one of the nicest assets of the EasyKey consoles is that only the pertinent keys light up when navigating the system and performing operations at the lanes.  This helps the bowlers tremendously to focus on the right keys and it prevents a lot of mistakes.

Finally, managing the leagues has taken off with the addition of Lexer Bowling Software.  Moreover, Lexer quickly became a great asset for their tournaments.  Good training at the start of the 2020-2021 season allowed Caroline (Éric’s sister) to build their weekly tournaments in Lexer.  It saves them a lot of time, because all the scores are retrieved after each game and the standings are updated in a split second.  In addition, the results are uploaded on the Internet…  to the delight of the bowlers who can see the results live on their mobile device.
