JOB TITLE: E-COMMERCE SPECIALIST

Our Sales and Marketing team is currently looking for an energetic and driven candidate to fill the position of E-Commerce Specialist. The candidate would take care of every aspect of our online presence: from our website, to our Amazon account, to our social media platforms, to our marketing communication tools with our customers. Ultimately, the candidate will help us increase our online sales and reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products. What you will do

• Write and edit product content that will be published on our e-Commerce website, on our Amazon account and any other online aspects of our business;
  • Creating new products and content pages on buffabowling.com:
    • Product description in French and English; 
    • Product images;
    • Update our website as needed.
  • Managing product listings on Amazon:
    • Adding and removing products as needed;
    • Investigating FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon).
  • Managing our social media platforms through Facebook Business Suite;
    • Creating content for Facebook, Private Client Group & Instagram;
    • Promoting content on social networks and monitoring engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
• Work closely with sales team to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms;
• Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media;
• Identify SEO best practices, develop and implement them;
• Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics;
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail; 
• Creating and distributing promotional e-blasts to advertise our company and products using MailChimp;
• Other tasks may be assigned.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals;
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English and French;
• Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Adobe Products;
• Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading e-Commerce website builders (e.g. CommerceBuild), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices;
• Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies and can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions;
• Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail;
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business;
• Analytical and multitasking skills;
• BSC degree in Marketing or relevant field;
• Prior knowledge of bowling products and industry, an asset.
