The proprietors at Whisky-Jack’s Pub had had this desire of opening a second location, but their love for bowling encouraged them to find a place where they could combine lanes and good food.  Mission accomplished with the birth of Whisky-Jack’s Pins & Pints / West Kelowna Bowl.

To ensure the sustainability of their project, Travis and Seth wanted peace of mind so that is why they opted for the EDGE String pinspotters.  The beauty about these pinspotters is that you do not need any knowledge with mechanics whatsoever.  The only thing is to understand the logic behind the chassis and know how to rotate the pins.  This takes a heavy weight off their shoulders as all their employees can quickly learn how to perform these tasks.

They went for the SPL Select lanes for a classic look and durability that stands the test of time.  They installed the automatic bumpers so that the kids can enjoy bowling while keeping the challenge up for the adults when it is their time to bowl.

The Harmony ball returns are also a sure bet because of their robust construction and their fancy design.

Being acquainted to customer service, they were looking for a management system that would be simple to operate.  Conqueror X answered their needs and exceeded their expectations; they quickly understood its workings.

As for the scoring and management system, they went for an “à la carte” version of BES X.  They kept the classic environments and games, and, knowing that some families would still visit them, they added YouToons! and Monster Factory to their package.

The interior design at WKB is modern and chic.  Therefore, the CenterPunch Lighting System was installed.  Configurating and programming the deck and capping lights in Conqueror is very easy.  Light shows can be scheduled for different moments of the day.

Because their focus was mainly open bowling, they purchased a bunch of Smart Ball balls.  These balls can be ordered in 11 different weights and seven different grips.  Their unique grips reduce hand fatigue, broken nails and blisters.  They are made of urethane are guaranteed two years.

Like several other small centres, they got a Kegel Crossfire lane machine.  Its low cost and its ease of use make it a must to guarantee optimal lane conditions and protect the lane surface.

Believe us.  West Kelowna Bowl looks like a den, a boy’s playroom.  The atmosphere is magical!
