T-BIRDS FOOD FUN GAMES

When you think “modernity”, the first thing that comes to mind is T-Birds Food Fun Games!  Formerly known as Thunderbird Bowl, this centre was redesigned from top to bottom in 2019 and in the late 2020.

First, the management system of the eight front desk computers was updated to Conqueror Pro version 13 then to Conqueror X version 14 in 2020.

The centre added six QPads.  QPads are portable tablets that stand in the palm of your hand and they work the same as a full terminal.  They are connected to the same Internet network as the other terminals.  They are a great tool for all the employees who work on the floor.  At T-Birds, they are mostly used by the servers at the restaurant upstairs and at the bar.  Service is faster and greater because the orders are sent directly to the kitchen or the counter.

Then, they updated their scoring and entertainment system to BES X Ultimate.  The fun and excitement reach a whole new level with BES X Ultimate.  This system offers 15 environments and animation sets, 11 special games, 8 Classic and Skills games and 4 Mad Games to choose from.  There is something for everyone: kids, adults, recreational bowlers and league bowlers are all thrilled!

The impact of the new “Rock and Roll” Harmony furniture is undeniable as well.  The Infinity sofas are dark grey and lime.  They are robust and easy to clean and sanitize.  For more convenience, there is even a storage space under each seat which keeps the bowler’s area safe.

Harmony coffee tables and storage spaces for the bowling balls blend perfectly to the mix.  They are very convenient because of their flexibility.  Just like the sofas, they can be rearranged to adapt to different environments.

Still from the Harmony collection, new ball returns with a lower rack were installed.  The whole look is fresh, classic and current.

And, not to go unnoticed, recreational bowlers can now play tenpin bowling with billiard balls.  The effect of these balls going down the lane is spectacular!  Their quality is equal to that of the Smart Balls.  For each weight, there are two grip sizes available.

Then, moving on to December 2020, big changes were made to the pinspotters.  They got rid of the old free-fall machines and installed the new EDGE String pinspotters to the 12 tenpin lanes.  This decision is a game changer as it drastically helps the centre to reduce the cost of labour, parts and electricity.

The EDGE String pinspotters brought in the CenterPunch Deck Lights.  Intelligent light shows can be designed and programmed in Conqueror when the lanes are on and off.  When the lanes are on, the lights react to every ball thrown.  When the lanes are off, the lights go from one effect to the other.

Finally, in 2021, T-Birds Food Fun Games updated its online reservation system by acquiring the new and revamped Web Reservations portal from QubicaAMF.  This new platform is miles away from the old platform.  It allows for more flexibility and possibilities.  It is easy to set up and modify.  It also gives the clients a better online experience when booking a lane.  Booking a lane has never been that easy.  Make money while you are sleeping!
