KINGSWOOD ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE

As the largest indoor entertainment centre in the Maritimes, the proprietors of Kingswood Entertainment Centre decided to modernise their facility in 2019.  The bet was big, because never before had there been a management and operating system for bowling.  The lanes would be open through a DOS computer and bowlers would keep their scores by hand on paper.

A full terminal was installed at the front desk and two POS terminals were added to the snack bar and bar counters.  All the terminals were loaded with Conqueror X.  The adjustment was great for the employees to understand and assimilate their new working techniques, but they all put their hands up during the two learning sessions and everything works perfectly today.  Also, all non-bowling activities are managed through the main terminal: laser tag, arcades, play areas for the toddlers and children, room rentals and summer camps.

Therefore, the Advanced Reservations module was added to facilitate the management of all the business areas and maximise the revenues.

It is no surprise that BES X Ultimate was chosen as the scoring and entertainment system to enhance the on-lane experience of the bowlers.  With 15 environments and animation sets, 11 special games, 8 Classic and Skills games and 4 Mad Games, the patrons see bowling with a different eye.

The SuperTouch consoles were installed at this centre.  Because they are very intuitive and resemble the tablets and smartphones we use every day, the bowlers got used to navigating them quickly.

To add a touch of silliness to all these new features, the CenterPunch lighting system was installed where the pins are (Deck Lights).  The light shows can be easily configured and programmed through Conqueror X.  They are spectacular and are a delight for the families during open play.

Lexer Bowling Software was also part of the deal.  This software is a great addition to the league bowlers, because every single aspect of the leagues is managed by Lexer: calendar, lane rotation, team display on the monitors, standings, online statistics, etc.  They are done spending hours and hours to run their leagues on paper.

Finally, everyone enjoys the comfort of the new Infinity sofas and their storage underneath them.  Their design is robust and their fabric is resistant to wear and tear and is easy to clean.  Depending on the space there is, the seat configuration can be easily modified to create a new environment.  Plus, your guests will like socialising even more.
